Point of care electronic patient record improves patient flow in A&E
West Suffolk Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is to install Ascribe’s emergency department solution, Ascribe Symphony, to improve patient flow through its A&E unit.
The electronic patient record system gives users access to clinical details at the point of care, offering a central information system within the emergency department, This reduces the time it takes to retrieve information and improves the throughput of patients.
Alain Sauvage, emergency medicine consultant at the trust, said: “Ascribe is a welcome relief to take the emergency department’s IT into the 21st Century.”
